Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've come into our optometry department today for a routine eye exam. Our optometrist will examine your eyes, eye muscles, and the surrounding facial structure. She will then perform some vision tests to check your peripheral vision as well as your visual acuity. She will then take your measurements to be able to write you a prescription for some lenses. 0:00 Intro 1:25 Examining your face and eyes while getting your history 5:16 Testing the muscles of your eyes, follow the light 6:56 Peripheral testing with my hand 8:32 Focus on my finger, when do you see the light? 10:26 Visual acuity testing with Snellen chart (eye chart) 13:07 Retinal exam 17:30 Moving your head, positioning the phoropter 21:44 Testing different lenses & axis of astigmatism 28:49 Taking measurements of your face and head (crinkle ruler!) 35:45 Writing you a prescription Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
